INNOVATEFIL® ABS FR SAMPLE

It is a fire retardant material tested according to the UL94 and IEC 60695-11-10 regulations, ideal for covering elements that may be a source of fire.

What can you get with this material?

In the presence of fire, pieces with a wall thickness of 1.50 mm are capable of self-extinguishing the flame in less than 30 seconds without producing plastic dripping, corresponding to category V-1 according to the UL94 standard. Pieces with thicknesses of 2.10 mm or greater, are capable of self-extinguishing the flame in less than 10 seconds without producing dripping of plastic material, corresponding to category V-0 according to the UL94 standard. Ideal in coatings or housings to protect electrical circuits or any element with risk of generating fires. Self-extinguishing flame retardant ABS, tested under conditions according to UL94 regulations, choosing the category V-1 for thicknesses of 1.5 mm and V-0 for thicknesses greater than 2.1 mm, ideal for protecting systems with risk of catching on.
